Launch Your Career in the Health Care Industry

The world of Medical Coding and Billing is expanding. By 2026, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects that medical record and health information jobs are due to increase by 13 percent. Healthcare organizations across the country are looking for trained and talented people for this growing field, which has a direct impact on the patient experience.

After completing your coursework, you’ll be prepared to sit for the national certification exam and earn a Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certificate.  CCA is a nationally recognized credential that can better position you for opportunities in the health field. Passing the CCA exam helps candidates separate themselves from non-credentialed health coders.

  • Classes will be taught virtually by live, interactive professors. 
  • 10 week program Mondays and Thursdays, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
  • Start date is October 2nd and end date is December 7th. 
  • Tuition is $2,000 including registration and fees. Books are additional.

  • Program will run for 10 weeks.
  • Classes will meet Monday - Thursday from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.
  • Start date is October 3 and end date is December 9.
  • Students receive college credit applicable to Monroe degree programs.
  • Students will have access to Monroe's Career Services Office.
  • Tuition is $2,000 including registration and fees.
  • A payment plan is available. Tuition can be paid in four $500 payments.
  • There are no prerequisites for this program.
  • Books are extra.
