Earn your Certified Associate in Project Management

Project Management is a rapidly growing profession. According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), 1.57 million new jobs will be created each year and qualified practitioners are in demand, opening up many opportunities for those who hold the CAPM. 

Course Description: 
This course provides an overview of important project management concepts including planning, scoping, scheduling, budgeting, communication, and change management.

Upon the successful completion of this course, students receive a program certificate of completion from Monroe College. To earn the CAPM certification from PMI, students must meet the additional requirements as outlined below. 

PMI CAPM Certification Requirements:

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent) 
  • 1,500 hours of project experience or
  • 23 hours of project management education completed by the time you sit for the   exam

Important Information:

  • Classes will be virtual and taught by a live, interactive professor.
  • Schedule will be Saturdays from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
  • March 11 – April 29 (8 weeks) 
  • Tuition is $1,000 including registration.
