Monroe's Associate degree program in Accounting provides students with the knowledge and skills in preparation for a career in corporate accounting and/or the foundation for an MBA degree. Students are required to take courses in mathematics and business as well as comprehensive liberal arts courses for perspectives on the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences. Once you earn your associate degree, you'll be prepared to jump into entry-level roles in your industry. You'll learn how to apply financial, managerial and cost accounting principles to your daily work and become an asset to any company.

Broaden your understanding of the field of business within the context of your professional objectives. Under the guidance of an academic advisor, this flexible program allows you to design a custom interdisciplinary curriculum to reach your career goals in Business Management, Accounting, or Health Services Administration. The 120-credit General Business degree includes eleven elective courses, plus seven courses in the field of your major – meaning you can tailor this degree to your own career path.
